Volunteering

Every year, during the spring and autumn seasons, we organize various volunteer work events that are essential for maintaining and preserving the landscape of the Curonian Spit. These tasks require significant community involvement and hands-on work, so assistance is always needed:

• Protection of open habitats from overgrowth through the removal of young pine saplings
• Installation of sand traps necessary for the preservation of white dunes
• Eradication of invasive plant species, such as Scotch broom and rose hip
• Other necessary maintenance work, including beach cleanups and litter collection

We kindly invite groups who are able and willing to spend half a day for the preservation of the Curonian Spit!
