How can you help to preserve and protect the Curonian Spit ? 

Here are a few ideas:

• when you go for a walk, take a bag with you and collect any trash you find along the way;
• remind other visitors not to climb the dunes or walk in the strict nature reserve by crossing the boundaries;
• tell people feeding birds on the shore of the lagoon is not helping the birds at all, its rather causing them big harm! Bread makes the birds weak, sick and they will stop looking for food by themselves, as well as flying to warmer countries in winter;  
• pay attention to many other things about behaviour in the nature of the Curonian Spit that visitors do not know or follow.
